Police officer arrested for sex trafficking in Texas

One of the three individuals detained during a recent child sex trafficking in Texas was an Arkansas police officer.

Officer Telvin Wilson, 31, of Texarkana, Texas, was accused of child sex trafficking in Texas online. Since 2016, Wilson had been employed by the Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department. On the border of Texas and Arkansas, two distinct cities are referred known as Texarkana. The Texas police department carried out the sting.

According to a Facebook post from the Texarkana Texas Police Department, officers first created a false ad and put it on a prostitution website. When they were contacted by the suspects, the authorities pretended to be an underage female.

Sex trafficking in Texas with two more suspects

James Willis, 37, and Adarius Wills, 33, were the other two suspects in the child sex trafficking in Texas. After being detained, each suspect was checked into the Bi-State Jail. It is reported that even after the “girl” or the victim of child sex trafficking in Texas informed each of the three guys she spoke to that she was underage, the department reported that each of them still wanted to meet up with her and proposed paying her for sex.

Wilson was given a $100,000 bond after being charged with online solicitation of a minor (sexual conduct). Wills’ bond was set at $85,000 after he was charged with online solicitation of minors and marijuana distribution. Willis was accused of escaping arrest, delivering a controlled narcotic, soliciting minors online, and resisting arrest.

Willis was also detained for drug possession and endangering/abandoning a kid with the intent to return. The Texas Department of Public Safety, the FBI, and the detectives with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office were also praised by the department for their assistance with the investigation of child sex trafficking in Texas.
