Teenager Arrested After Slashing Incident at Bronx High School, Third Such Incident in NYC in Recent Days.

• On Tuesday, a gang-related stabbing occurred at Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn. The 15-year-old suspect was charged as an adult with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault.

• These incidents may have influenced the Adams administration to reconsider a budget cut proposal to cancel the incoming class of school safety agents. Despite a hiring freeze, there are 120 agents set to begin training at the police academy.
