According to authorities, a stranger provoked an argument with a 25-year-old pregnant woman on a Queens train on Wednesday morning and kicked her in the stomach. The victim was left shocked and traumatized by the incident.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. when a woman bumped into another unsuspecting passenger on a southbound No. 7 train approaching the 74 Street-Broadway station in Jackson Heights.

As the train came to a stop at the 74 Street-Broadway station, the suspect and the pregnant woman continued their argument and things quickly escalated.

As per the police report, the victim sustained minor injuries, which included swelling and bruising to the face, and stomach pains. The victim was immediately taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst by EMS for medical attention.

On Wednesday night, authorities made public a photograph of the suspect who is still on the loose. The police hope that the release of this image will help in identifying her.

According to reports, the victim was a 28-year-old man who was caught off-guard and had no idea what was happening to him. The incident has sparked outrage and raised questions about the safety of people when traveling on public transportation.
