St. Joseph High School Football Player Fatally Stabbed in NYC.

Rocco Rodden, a 17-year-old high school football player from Warren, was tragically stabbed to death early Thanksgiving morning in lower Manhattan, New York City.
The incident occurred at 96 Lafayette Street around 1:50 a.m., Thursday. Rodden, a junior offensive lineman at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, was one of two stabbing victims found by the police.
He was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The second victim, a 19-year-old, is in stable condition following the stabbing.
Gianluca Bordone, 19, from New York, has been arrested in connection with the incident. Bordone is charged with manslaughter and assault.

Reggie Sainte Rose, the school’s athletic director, announced a prayer service and the availability of counselors on campus.
