New COVID Variant In New York Has Bizarre New Symptoms

The New COVID variant shows bizarre novel symptoms and it’s spreading fast around New York City. The new variant is called JN. 1 and for now remains “the fastest-growing variant in the United States,” stated the CDC.

The new variant is responsible for 15-29% of all COVID cases reported up to now across the United States, according to the latest report of CDC. 

This new variant is more contagious than other forms of COVID and the new variant is another descendant of the Omicron variant.

According to the CDC, “The continued growth of JN.1 suggests that it is either more transmissible or better at evading our immune system. “It further added that the rapid growth of JN. 1 compared with other variants raises the question of whether this variant might drive an incremental increase in infections.”

The new Covid variant shows odd new symptoms which seem like some of the most typical COVID symptoms. According to the top health officials, many sick people are reporting 2 new symptoms of the new variant. 

Two of the most reported symptoms of the new COVID variant are increased anxiety of 10.5% and trouble sleeping among most of the people surveyed. 

Some of the other common symptoms reported among surveyed respondents with the new COVID variant are stated below according to the Office for National Statistics are Loss of smell and taste.

Recently 2-3 percent of infected persons reported loss of sense for taste and smell.

The new COVID-19 variant is associated with higher levels of stress anxiety and uncertainty. Reports have shown that it will also lead to difficulty in concentrating and remembering things and a person who is infected with new COVID-19 radiant will have more mood swings and difficulty in breathing.

Many doctors have stated that individuals who are infected by new Covid 19 variants are finding it hard to fall or stay asleep with height and stress and anxiety trigger insomnia or sleeplessness.

Studies show that more than 31% of those who suffered from the new COVID-19 variant have reported a runny nose as a symptom.

Many people who are suffering from new COVID-19 variants have also reported a dull or throbbing headache, especially in the early stages of infection with a constant feeling of draining and lacking energy, they suffer from severe fatigue and constant tiredness without any physical exhaustion even after recovering from COVID.

One more symptom that is commonly found in the infected person is muscle they have suffered from generalized muscle soreness and pain in specific areas like the back or legs.

These Omicron COVID Symptoms May Lead to Hospitalizations in New York

The first case of JN.1 was detected by INSACOG in Kerala on December 17 in a 79-year-old woman from Thiruvananthapuram district.

As per INSACOG reports, collaboration between many scientific institutions has been tracking and studying the different variants of viruses that are going to occur in the future. According to their latest reports, the dominance of the Jain one variant in the country has raised concerns about their potential impact on the overall over covid 19 situation in the country.
