Somorie Moses, also known as “Sugar Bear” and “Daddy,” pleaded guilty to murder and sex trafficking. He allegedly killed a woman, dismembered her body, and stored her head, hands, and feet in a deep freezer in his New York City apartment. Moses is now facing 15 years to life in prison.
A man was shot and killed at the intersection of West 142nd Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem. The victim, a 65-year-old man, was shot in the chest and later pronounced dead at a hospital. No arrests have been made, and the identity of the victim has not been released.
A 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on a northbound 4 train near Union Square. The suspect forcibly grabbed her legs and pressed his body into her.
