On August 24, according to the complaint Hill showed up at her place of business just before it closed and insisted on staying until she spoke with him. The complaint claims that Hill again visited her location on August 27. Previously, he made threats to harm the plaintiff in an effort to win her back. Additionally, the plaintiff claims that Hill punched her into the ground and shattered her phone on August 29 around 3:30 p.m. The plaintiff claims that after she left the residence Hill pulled at her arm, injuring it while also attempting to pick her up repeatedly. The complainant asserts that she eventually managed to return inside and shut Hill out. Hill is said to have forced through the door and pleaded with the plaintiff not to let the police find him. The plaintiff then opened the door for police and Hill was taken into custody and filed multiple charges against Cody Kristopher Hill.
