The alleged Gilgo Beach Serial Killer, who was apprehended last month and accused of killing three people in New York, is being supported by the daughter of the “Happy Face Killer” in an effort to assist the family.

Last week, investigators completed their search of the house in connection with the Gilgo Beach case. After the authorities turned over the property to the family of Rex Heuermann, they decided to move back in.
According to People, Asa Ellerup and her two adult children need financial assistance to start again, so Melissa Moore (Happy Face Killer’s Daughter), the daughter of convicted murderer Keith Jerperson (Happy Face Killer), established a GoFundMe last Friday and has already raised more than $23,000.
Happy Face Daughter’s decision to step forward and help this family speaks volumes about her character and her desire to make amends for the sins of Happy Face Killer.
According to Suffolk Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison, Rex Heuermann’s arrests last month “shocked, embarrassed, and disgusted” his 59-year-old wife and their two adult children. Heuermann was leading a second life, but “I don’t think they knew about it,” he asserted.

Heuermann is accused of killing Amber Costello, 27, Melissa Barthelemy, 24, and Megan Waterman, 22, on three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder.
According to Meaww, He entered a not-guilty plea. According to the police, DNA evidence links him to the killings, and he is still the major suspect in the death of 25-year-old Maureen Brainard-Barnes.
The bodies of all four women, who were sex workers who went missing, were eventually found on Gilgo Beach more than ten years ago.
It is worth mentioning that Melissa Moore’s father, Happy Face Killer Daughter, Keith Jeperson also known as the “Happy Face Killer” was a notorious serial killer who murdered at least eight women in the 1990s. Melissa, (Happy Face Killer’s daughter) has since become an advocate for victims’ families and uses Happy Face Killer’s daughter experiences to support others who have been affected by similar tragedies.
