President Joe Biden assumed office in January 2021, amid a surge of expectations and demands for significant reforms, including student loan forgiveness.
According to report published on 2WGRZ ON YOUR SIDE, the administration announced that the 800,000 borrowers will be forgive up to $39 billion. The criteria on student loan was being reiterate in the report.
This criteria on student loan is a big help for the officials to know who to give the student loan forgiveness among the 800,000 borrowers. First in the criteria on student on loan is those borrowers who has direct loans. Second criteria on student loan if the borrower make 240-300 monthly payments that is equivalent to 20-25 years.
