College GameDay Announces Big Guest Picker For Saturday’s Show

“College GameDay” just landed the perfect celebrity guest picker for this Saturday’s preview of the Red River Showdown.
Moments ago, ESPN confirmed that Baker Mayfield will be the Week 6 guest picker for “College GameDay.” The network said, “This guy knows a thing or two about the Red River Rivalry.”
Mayfield, a former Heisman Trophy winner at Oklahoma, is enjoying an incredible start to the 2023 NFL season. In four games with the Buccaneers, he has 882 passing yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions.
Mayfield will have plenty to talk about when it comes to this weekend’s game between No. 12 Oklahoma and No. 3 Texas. Both programs have looked incredible through five weeks.
Oklahoma is coming off a 50-20 victory over Iowa State. Texas, on the other hand, defeated Kansas by a final score of 40-14.
Obviously, it’s no secret as to who Mayfield will pick for this installment of the Red River Showdown.
Oklahoma and Texas will kick off at 12 p.m. ET on ABC. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be on the call.
