Police authorities said that they arrested a Tennessee mom for allegedly biting her 4-month-old infant girl on the face and knee.
Tennessee Woman Accused of Biting Her 4-Month-Old Infant Girl
Tennessee woman identified as Lisa Ashley, 20 years old, was accused of biting her 4-month-old infant girl on the face and knee. It was discovered after the defendant’s parents reported to the police officers about the possible child abuse.
In a published article in Law & Crime, a deputy immediately arrived at the residence on Smith Jones Lane in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. Jessica Ashley, the mother of the defendant, told the officer that the 4-month-old infant girl has marks of bruises.
She also added that they have seen the marks and bruises on the baby’s body. The couple also showed the officer the photos of bruises including a bite mark. Likewise, Deputy Logan Faulkner also observed the marks of bruises and bite marks on the baby’s body.

Mother of the 4-Month-Old Baby Was Arrested
According to the published article in FOX San Antonio, Lisa Ashley was arrested on July 7 and was taken to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. However, it was found that Ashley is no longer detained in the Hamilton County Jail.
Furthermore, the deputy coordinated with the Volunteer State child welfare agents before the arrest happened. They take pictures and interviewed Lisa Ashley. She admitted to the agents that she had bitten her child on the face and knee.
