The man was left with a broken jaw and cuts on the head and hands, police said. He was treated at the hospital for his injuries.

The suspects ran off after the attack and were last seen going into the building at 420 West 19th St., police said. There have been no arrests.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.

Public was quick to comment on it, saying “Don’t know what’s going on with this generation of kids .They have no respect for their parents or the elderly or themselves for that matter .It’s sad how social media platforms and bulling had taken over the children of this generation. I’m glad I was raised back in the day when if you even throught about disrespecting someone your parents would get a whole of you so quickly and put you in your place as a chid should stay. All these kids trying so hard to br grown so fast being a grown up comes with responsibility and being accountable for your acts”, while the other one said “oh man since you like to beat up old man why you don’t come down to East New York in Brooklyn and come and try us we like to play too we want to play with all 4 of y’all will show you what time it is remember East New York on Blake and Pennsylvania you a bunch of punks.”
