A woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting and beat her grandfather in Louisiana. She was detained by local police after he and his wife questioned her about her personal hygiene.

Sheriff Steve Prator stated that the woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting lives with her grandparents in the 3900 block of Fountainbleu Road in Keithville. Carrington Harris attacked her grandfather after her grandfather and grandmother requested her to take a shower. Since the woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting hadn’t been taking frequent showers as they had been fussing about her hygiene. The woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting was confronted about her poor hygiene at the time that she began causing damage to property within the home and shut off the power from outside.
Harris avoided her grandparents attempts to detain her and then went to the kitchen to get a knife. She allegedly stabbed her grandfather with the knife. Her grandfather was being taken to the hospital. She afterwards left the house and took cover in woods but later on was discovered by police officers. Harris detained by police and accused of domestic battery and domestic battery with a deadly weapon. No bond has been set since her arrest on August 28 and booking into the Caddo Correctional Center.
