Krista Brunecz Stabbed Her Child Several Times
Police authorities identified the West Virginia mom as Krista Brunecz, 32 years old, who stabbed her 3-month-old child several times that includes in the lungs and heart using a butcher knife. This incident happened last year when the police authorities responded to a report.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the Lewis County deputies responded to an apartment complex at approximately 8 in the morning on December 30, 2022 after they received a call from a woman. She said that there was blood all over the apartment.
When the authorities arrived at the scene, they saw Krista Brunecz kneeling in front of the couch with a lifeless infant in her arms. They attempted to rush to the nearest hospital the mother and the baby but suddenly, the 3-month-old child was pronounced dead.

Results of Autopsy
According to a published article in ABC13 News, the results of the autopsy revealed that the 3-month-old child suffered wounds to her lungs and heart. They also said that the baby died from several stab wounds in the chest area.
Furthermore, Krista Brunecz was charged with one count of murder and one count of death of a child by parent, guardian, custodian, or another person by child abuse on July 10, according to the Lewis County Attorney’s Office. There were 20 other persons who were indicted on the same day.
