Three firefighters were hospitalized with broken bones after responding to a three-alarm fire in West New York. The fire started on Thanksgiving Day near Bergenline Avenue and 53rd Street. Witnesses reported hearing a loud boom and seeing flames coming from the apartment building, which also housed a first-floor business. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and multiple residents will be displaced as a result.

Five members of the Trinitarios Dominican street gang were arrested in a West New York drug bust. The arrest followed a four-month probe, and approximately $20,000 worth of cocaine was recovered. The individuals taken into custody without incident were Wanderson Ceballo-Ramos, Ingri Cruz-Villatoro, Wellington Cruz, Angel Diaz, and Christian Gomez. The arrest was made during the execution of court authorized search warrants.
