Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Kenia Guardado-Molina, who was found deceased at her apartment on Forum Park Drive on October 1, 2024, at approximately 8:55 a.m.
Camilo Ayala, 26, has been charged with murder in the 487th State District Court. He is currently not in custody and is wanted by authorities. The victim, Guardado-Molina, was discovered by concerned relatives after they had not heard from her and she failed to pick up her child from the babysitter. Family members entered her apartment and found her body, with at least one gunshot wound.
In addition to the murder charge, Ayala is also facing charges for the sexual assault of a female at a club earlier in the year on June 14, 2024.
