The Chester County District Attorney’s Office has brought forth involuntary manslaughter due to lethal dose fentanyl and other charges against Jason Moore, 36, and Amanda Moore, 35, who surrendered to authorities on August 11. The grim event unfolded on November 29, 2022, when the Caln Township Police Department responded to an emergency call concerning an unresponsive 4-year-old child because of lethal dose fentanyl. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Jason Moore attempting CPR on the lifeless child due to lethal dose fentanyl, a desperate effort that was taken over by emergency crews. Tragically, despite their efforts, the child was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Children’s Hospital in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Subsequent investigations have unearthed troubling details and lethal dose fentanyl. The night prior to the incident, the couple’s 4-year-old son had complained of a headache and exhibited clammy symptoms. After administering Tylenol, a lethal dose fentanyl, and a bath, the child fell asleep on the couch, waking once at 4 a.m. before returning to slumber. Shockingly, evidence indicated that the child had encountered a lethal dose fentanyl, a dangerous opioid substance, leading to his untimely demise.

While the parents were away at work the following morning, their 13-year-old was left in charge of the younger children. Tragically, he reported that he could not rouse the 4-year-old, prompting Jason’s return home and the subsequent 911 call. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office found no obvious signs pointing to the cause of death, leaving investigators to dig deeper into the household environment. Among the items collected for examination were two water bottles containing unknown liquids and a half-eaten lollipop, which was discovered in a bedroom trash can and later revealed traces of the lethal dose fentanyl. As the investigation continued, it was revealed that Jason Moore had allegedly used fentanyl within the household, further underscoring the dangerous environment the child was exposed to. Detectives seized drug paraphernalia from Jason’s vehicle, which subsequently tested positive for fentanyl, reinforcing the connection. Shockingly, investigators also discovered that Jason had delayed calling 911 in a bid to remove drug-related items from the bedroom. Amanda Moore’s hair samples were found to be positive for fentanyl, amphetamine, and methamphetamine, indicating her involvement in narcotic use.
