The lifeless body of Baby June was tragically found in an Atlantic Ocean coastal inlet more than five years ago, sparking a lengthy and challenging Baby June case investigation. Initially pleading not guilty, Singh eventually reached a deal with prosecutors, agreeing to plead guilty to lesser charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child and abuse of a dead human body. The Baby June case had remained unsolved until the breakthrough came in June 2022 when the PBSO Crime Lab identified a potential father for Baby June. After an interview with the unnamed father, it was revealed that he had been in a relationship with Singh during high school but lost contact in 2017 when he moved to Tallahassee. In the summer of 2018, Singh allegedly informed him that she had been pregnant with his child, but he was unsure if she had an abortion or not. Subsequent DNA analysis confirmed the Baby June case and that Singh was the mother of Baby June, leading to her arrest.

Further investigations into the Baby June case and Singh’s internet activity revealed disturbing details. Google location data placed her at the Boynton Beach Inlet around the time when Baby June was thrown into the ocean. Following the Baby June case incident, Singh allegedly searched for news articles about the discovery of her child’s body, visiting various local and national news websites and even looking up a sketch of the baby. During her interview with law enforcement, Singh admitted to giving birth to Baby June in a hotel room bathroom on May 30 and claimed she did not know she was pregnant until the baby’s birth. The Baby June case had deeply affected the law enforcement officers involved in the investigation, with Palm Beach Sheriff Ric Bradshaw emphasizing the emotional toll it took on them. The tragic Baby June case stands as a somber reminder of the importance of pursuing justice for innocent lives lost and highlighting the need for support systems and awareness surrounding issues of prenatal care and mental health.
