The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is investigating two aggravated robberies that occurred in late 2024 and is seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspects involved.
The first incident took place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, between 9:50 and 10 p.m., at the Tienda Mexicana service station located at 10304 N. Lamar Boulevard.
The second occurred on Monday, December 16, 2024, between 10:20 and 10:30 p.m., at Mi Pueblito Food Mart at 8237 Research Boulevard.
Both incidents involved two armed suspects, described as follows:
- Suspect #1:
- Black male, 35-45 years old
- Height: 6’0” to 6’2”
- Weight: 200+ lbs.
- Last seen wearing a gray/orange UT Austin sweatshirt, black pants, sunglasses, a multicolored medical-style mask, black gloves, and white shoes with black trim.
- Armed with a handgun.
- Suspect #2:
- Black male, 35-45 years old
- Height: 6’0” to 6’2”
- Weight: 200+ lbs.
- Last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sunglasses, a black gaiter, black pants, black gloves, and black shoes.
- Armed with a black handgun.
