Amarillo Police Seek Public’s Help in Solving 2008 Cold Case Murder

The Amarillo Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in solving the 2008 murder of Crystal Dawn Booker.

Incident Details:

  • Date: January 18, 2008
  • Time: Approximately 11:40 a.m.
  • Location: Field near 6800 I-40 East, Amarillo, Texas

On that morning, a man walking his dog discovered the body of a female in a field southwest of a parking lot at 6800 I-40 East. The victim was identified as Crystal Dawn Booker. Investigators determined she had suffered fatal injuries, and her death was ruled a homicide.

Despite extensive efforts, the case remains unsolved, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
