Someone broke the window at a psychiatric hospital in Maryland which caused a patient to escape through the window, and the police are now looking for the getaway driver.
Psychiatric Hospital Patient Escaped
As reported by local officials, a mentally ill person slipped out a shot-out window and fled in a getaway car on Tuesday night from one of Maryland’s state-run psychiatric hospitals.
An unidentified suspect entered the Eastern Shore Hospital Center, fired several rounds into a glass window, and then kicked in the damaged window frame, according to a news release from Cambridge Police Chief Justin Todd on Wednesday morning. As a result, the patient was able to escape, and the two reportedly drove off in a black automobile.
The escapee was identified as 19-year-old Darrin Lee Jeter, who was hospitalized earlier this year after being arrested and charged with, among other offenses, assaulting a police officer.

The psychiatric Hospital getaway driver is wanted by the police
Authorities are looking for a person responsible for Tuesday night’s destruction of a psychiatric institution in Cambridge, Maryland. Minor injuries were caused by the broken glass after the saintly broke a window using physical force and a weapon.
A 19-year-old Rockville resident named Darrin Lee Jeter has been named as the suspect. Before the cops arrived, Jeter broke the glass and fled the scene with a partner in a black car. Police are still looking for the car’s driver at this time. It is significant to remember that occurrences like these can injure both people and property, making it imperative to report any shady activity to the authorities.
