Charges of sexual assault are being filed against a first responder after sexually assaulting a victim who called for help.
Responding Turns To Sexual Assaulting By A First Responder
A first responder who is also a volunteer firefighter is facing charges of sexual assault after responding to a call by a female victim. The first responder was called by the victim to her property but instead of receiving help, was instead touched on her inappropriate areas. The first responder who is named Jeremy Sean Gray is also a volunteer firefighter of Aiken County. The first responder was then arrested on the 19th of July. According to court records, the first responder is charged with second-degree assault and battery.
According to an article published by Aiken Standard, the sexual assault happened when the first responder came back after the deputies left where the first responder touched her inappropriately which led to the first responders being kicked off of the property.
Rescuing Turns To Accusations Of Sexual Assault By A Paramedic
In a published article by WCNC, sexual assault accusations are being made by a teen towards a paramedic during an ambulance ride. The 31-year-old Akingbiwaju Joseph Opadele was part of the ambulance crew that helped the victim be transferred to Atrium Health. It was said that Opadele placed his hand inside the victim’s pants which weren’t part of the medical treatment of the victim.
