HOUSTON, TX – A fatal shooting and subsequent crash were reported on Westheimer Road, stemming from a road rage.
Officers responded to the 8600 block of Westheimer, where they found a male victim, age unknown, fatally shot. Initial investigations indicate the shooting occurred during a road rage incident.
A second victim attempted to flee the scene but crashed a few blocks down at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Jeanetta Street (9000 Westheimer). The crash involved two other vehicles, causing minor injuries to two individuals. All those injured in the crash were transported to a nearby hospital.
The second victim was found to have at least one gunshot wound. His condition is currently unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
