The New York State Police Troop F Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET) and Community Stabilization Unit (CSU) have completed a two and a half month narcotics investigation. This was done in partnership with the Orange County District Attorney’s office. The investigation focused on a Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) operating between New York City and Orange County, New York. On December 7, 2023, 11 search warrants were executed in the Bronx and Orange County, NY.
The operation led to the seizure of over 2 kilograms of cocaine, around 17 pounds of cannabis, fentanyl pills, United States currency, and eight illegal firearms. These seizures occurred in the Bronx and Orange County, NY. The operation disrupted the DTO’s activities in the region.
Several individuals were arrested and charged as part of the investigation. These include James Baltimore, 36, and Antonio Bucci, 28, both from Chester, and Tyler Zaborski, 26, and Lestor Zaborski Jr, 50, both from Bronx, NY. They were arraigned and sent to Orange County Jail on various charges, including weapon and controlled substance possession, and conspiracy.
Christopher Bucci, 58, and Michael Curtis, 32, also from Chester, were arrested and charged with the criminal sale of a controlled substance. They were arraigned and released on their own recognizance. Several other individuals from Chester, Warwick, Bronx, NY, and Mamakating were arrested and charged with conspiracy and released on appearance tickets.
The investigation continues, with further charges and arrests anticipated. This operation is part of the New York State Police and other law enforcement agencies’ ongoing efforts to tackle drug trafficking and related crimes in the region. The arrests and seizures highlight the ongoing drug issue in the area and law enforcement’s dedication to addressing it.
