Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Matt Rife’s upcoming tour dates.
Rife recently dropped his first Netflix special and soon after it hit the streamer, viewers were upset.
After describing the state of Maryland to the crowd, he jumped into an anecdote about a waitress he encountered in the state with a black eye.
“My boy, who I was with, was like, ‘Yeah, I feel bad for her, man, I feel like they should put her in the kitchen or something where nobody has to see her face,’” Rife joked.
“And I was like, ‘Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn’t have that black eye.’”
Many fans of his didn’t appreciate the bit.
“The way women catapulted Matt Rife into popularity and the second he gets a comedy special on Netflix he immediately betrays them with a joke about domestic violence crazy innit,” one user slammed according to the New York Post .
In response, Rife volleyed back with a silly apology where he offered those that were offended special needs helmets.
