The U.S. Attorney’s Office charged Knight with conspiracy to use, carry, and brandish firearms during and in relation to crimes of violence, as court documents laid out the disturbing details of their modus operandi. However, their cruelty did not end there, which explains his plea of guilty. The plea of guilty stems from the reign of terror culminated in violent carjackings, often involving beatings with their handguns and threats of fatal consequences. Knight’s plea of guilty has shed light on this harrowing criminal enterprise, leaving the Twin Cities community and rideshare drivers appalled. As his sentencing in relation to his plea of guilty hearing awaits scheduling, authorities remain committed to dismantling the entire carjacking ring and ensuring justice is served for all victims involved.
