It is unclear which person and vehicle struck the child but cops are looking for four people, investigators said.
At around 5 pm on August 26, a two-year-old girl was with her family inside Pelham Bay Park. Cops said a group of people operating a dirt bike and a moped were driving illegally through the park.
Police said one of the motorized bikes traveling at a high rate struck the little girl.
The child suffered lacerations, bleeding and pain to her right leg, cops said.
The bikers drove out of the park at a high rate of speed, cops said.
Surveillance video showed the bikes racing out of the park towards Pelham Bay Train Station. A fourth man was seen running out of the park as well. Cops said the runner was part of the group.
