For $27 million, you can solve endless New York parking headaches.
A Manhattan penthouse with its own private car elevator was listed for $27 million on Friday.
In a city where parking is an endless pain for residents, owners of this penthouse only have to drive into their glass elevator and park in the apartment’s sky garage. The amenity is “a visionary feature that epitomizes luxury and exclusivity” and was designed by Selldorf Architects, according to the listing by Jacob Greenwood and Carl Gambino of Compass.
The apartment was purchased in 2012 by New York real estate company Young Woo & Associates for $11 million after it developed the condo, according to property records. Young Woo did not immediately respond to The Messenger’s request for comment.
