Exploring the Perks and Rewards of the Capital One Venture Rewards Card
The Capital One Venture Rewards Card, which comes with a $95 annual fee, has some great perks. According to The Points Guy, if you’re a new cardholder, you can earn a big bonus of 75,000 miles by spending $4,000 in the first three months, which is worth around $1,388. However, before applying, it’s important to check if you meet the eligibility criteria, especially if you’ve had other Capital One Venture Rewards Card before.
With this Capital One Venture Rewards Card, you can use your miles in two main ways. First, you can use them to cover travel expenses on your credit card statement, like rideshares and rental cars, with each mile worth 1 cent. This means you can get about $750 in travel benefits. Alternatively, you can transfer your miles to Capital One’s partner loyalty programs, like Air Canada Aeroplan or Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, where they can be worth even more.

Capital One Venture Rewards Card Benefits and Eligibility Insights
Apart from the generous welcome bonus, the Capital One Venture Rewards Card gives you a simple way to earn miles: 5 miles per dollar spent on hotel and rental car bookings through Capital One Travel, and 2 miles per dollar on other eligible purchases. You also get perks like a $100 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck every four years, lounge access, travel insurance, extended warranty protection, and no foreign transaction fees.
While it’s recommended to have a credit score of at least 700, some people with scores below 800 have been approved. Keep in mind that Capital One has rules about how many of their personal cards you can have. If you already have two or more, you might not be approved, and you can only get one Capital One card every six months.
