US Army Special Operations Command Study Highlights Ladies in ARMY Discrimination

A recent study by the US Army Special Operations Command has uncovered significant ladies in Army discrimination serving in the elite Special Operations Forces (ARSOF). According to Military, the study was conducted in 2021 and released recently, reveals instances of sexual harassment, sexism, and ill-fitting equipment among female soldiers.

According to the report, male senior non-commissioned officers and company-grade officers were found to hold sexist attitudes toward ladies in Army, with offensive anonymous comments noted in the study. Additionally, almost all ladies in Army, particularly in ARSOF, reported problems with poorly fitting body armor, a long-standing issue that forces many women to buy their own gear.

US Army Study Exposes Significant Discrimination Against Ladies in Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF), Highlighting Sexual Harassment and Sexism Issues

According to CNN, the US Army Special Operations Command acknowledges the essential role of ladies in Army and the broader defense of the nation. Efforts are being made to address the issues highlighted in the study, including the appointment of leaders for the “Women in ARSOF Initiative” and securing funds for better childcare facilities. The study’s recommendations are being integrated into training programs, and a “dating etiquette course” is being developed to increase awareness of sexual harassment and assault.

Despite the challenges, ladies in Army remain committed and resilient, upholding high standards and striving to prove their abilities daily. The study’s release marks the beginning of an ongoing effort to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women within special operations units.
