According to the report, the leader of the team, Cheng Li, who teaches at the University of Michigan, helped us understand more about these huge storms. He used special tools to listen to radio waves deep inside Saturn. These waves helped them learn about something called ammonia gas, which is like an ingredient in Saturn’s air. The storms mess up this gas deep down.

They learned that the storms on Saturn are different from the ones on Jupiter, even though both planets have lots of gas. These storms happen in a secret place below Saturn’s clouds, while Jupiter’s storms are on its visible bands and belts.
