Racism towards two black men results in six white law enforcement officers being fired after pleading guilty to the act.
Law Enforcement Officers Fired For Racist Actions
Six law enforcement officers who call themselves the “Goon Squad” pleads guilty to brutalizing two black men. On the 24th of January, the “Goon Suwan” burst into the two black men’s home. The name of the two black men was Michael Corey Jenkins and Eddie Terrell Parker.
The officers went inside the home of the two black men without a warrant. The two black men were then handcuffed and shot with stun guns. The officers also assaulted the black men with a sex object.
According to an article by CBS News, the assault on the two black men lasted for 90 minutes. One of the two black men was shot inside his mouth which cut his tongue and broke his jaw. They also used racial slurs against the two black men. The “Goon Squad” then started to discuss the cover-up story they will tell to everyone.
Multiple Criminal Charges For The Six White Men
In a published article by AP News, the six white ex-officers planned to plant and tamper with pieces of evidence of their crime. the Mississippi Attorney General’s office announced last Thursday that state charges are already been filed. These state charges include assault, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice.
