A man posing as an undercover police officer, who also has multiple aliases, is facing multiple charges for kidnapping a woman.
Fake Undercover Police Officer Convicted Of Kidnapping
Negasi Zuberi, a 29-year-old man is now behind bars after kidnapping a woman and putting her in a cinder block cell all while posing as a fake undercover police officer. The fake undercover police officer kidnapped the woman who is from Seattle. The man posing as an undercover police officer chained and drove her to his home in Oregon.
The fake police officer is charged with interstate kidnapping as well as transporting an individual across state lines to engage in criminal sexual activity. Zuberi, who was posing as an undercover police officer, was also accused of drugging women’s drinks to gain control.
According to an article by CBS News, the fake police officer lived in different areas while using different aliases. Zuberi’s former landlord named Abishek Kandar also stated that the fake police officer is a horrible person which is why he kicked him out. The posing undercover police officer deserved to be in jail due to his crimes, says his former landlord.

In a published article by AP News, Negasi Zuberi had a formal plan for his crime. He called it “Operation Take Over”. He is now also a suspect in multiple sexual assaults in multiple locations. And has been under the police’s radar for his past wrongdoings.
