79-Year-Old NYC Among Three Robbed at Gunpoint, Robbed of $10,000.
NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday, November 24, 2023, involving two unidentified individuals who targeted three male victims in front of a commercial establishment.
The incident took place at approximately 2:40 PM near the intersection of Skillman Avenue and 48th Street. According to the report, two individuals, acting in concert, approached the victims—a 33-year-old male, a 40-year-old male, and a 79-year-old male—and displayed a firearm. They forcibly removed $10,000 and a checkbook from the victims before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were last seen heading northbound on 49th Street riding a moped. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with this incident.
The first suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a light complexion and a medium build. He was observed wearing a black balaclava, sunglasses, a black jacket with a navy blue hooded sweatshirt underneath, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
The second suspect is also described as a male, around 5’10” tall, with a light complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black helmet, black mask, glasses, a black jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers. The moped used in the getaway is described as black with two wheels. The NYPD is actively seeking information about these individuals and encourages anyone with information to come forward. As the investigation continues, the public is asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that could be related to this incident.
