Five People Dead Across New York City in Thanksgiving Day Violence.
NEW YORK, NY – Five people were murdered in New York York City on Thanksgiving, including one teen and an elderly woman. Violence spread across the city as New York City officials continued to try to stem the tide of violence in the city.
A 17-year-old was stabbed in the torso in Midtown Manhattan early Thursday morning. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. A 19-year-old stabbed during the same incident was also taken to the hospital for stab wounds.
A male victim succumbed to a stab wound in Brooklyn on Thursday evening, marking a violent incident in the city. Police responded to a 911 call at around 7:15 PM at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Alabama in Bushwick
On arrival, they found the victim with a torso stab wound. Emergency services transported him to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was declared deceased.
A late-night shooting in Brooklyn resulted in the death of a 69-year-old woman. Police received a 911 call at approximately 10:57 PM on Thursday, reporting a shooting in front of 340 Bainbridge Street, within the 81 Precinct.\
Arriving officers found Angelina Renita Parker, a resident of the address, with a gunshot wound to her neck. Emergency services transported Parker to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
A shooting incident in Harlem resulted in the death of a 48-year-old man late Thursday night.
Police responded to a 911 call at about 11:45 PM, reporting a shooting in front of 667 Macombs Place, located within the 32 Precinct. Officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to his back.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was later pronounced dead.
