June’s Final Ssdi Payment is Being Sent Out in Less Than 48 Hours

If you haven’t received your SSDI payment for June yet, you won’t have to wait long: millions of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) users are set to get payments this week.

The fourth and last monthly distribution will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month for individuals who claimed their benefits after May 1997, which includes the vast majority of present claimants. SSDI payments are made monthly to authorised recipients with disabilities that prevent them from engaging in Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA), which is paid labour.

The particular date of receipt is determined by the date of birth, and the beneficiaries are divided into three main categories: those born between the 1st and 10th of any month, those born between the 11th and 20th of any month, and those born after the 21st of any month.

The final SSDI payment for June will be in less than 48 hours

Beneficiaries with birthdays between the first and tenth of the month got their SSDI payment on June 11th. This date corresponds to the second Wednesday in June. This week, the SSA allocates individuals to the first category based on their birthdate.

Those with birthdays between the 11th and the 20th got SSDI benefits on June 18th. This date marks the third Wednesday of the month. Those born between the 21st and 31st of any month will receive their SSDI payments on June 25th, which is only a few days away.

The date for persons who received SSDI benefits prior to May 1997 was June 3. This group is an exception to the regular calendar. Their payment is always made at the beginning of each month, regardless of their birthday.

The maximum SSDI award is $4,018, which is designated for a small number of recipients having at least 40 work credits, 20 of which were acquired within the last ten years prior to the onset of disability.

Additionally, to collect the maximum benefit, you must have been a high earner during your working career, contributing to the maximum taxable amount of Social Security for the majority of years. The SSA bases your benefit on your 35 highest-earning years.

If you earned the maximum taxable amount (in 2025, $176,100) for at least the requisite 35 years, you are eligible for the maximum payment.

Where should I contact if my SSDI payment has not arrived?

Those who did not receive their SSDI payment on time should wait at least three business days to ensure that there were no delays caused by factors other than the SSA, such as processing issues at the bank where the receiving account is held.

If the money has not arrived after that period, you should call the SSA. Call 1-800-772-1213, which is the main customer support number. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., in your local time zone.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, please contact us at 1-800-325-0778. It is critical to have your Social Security number ready when you phone, since they may request it to verify your identification.
